Manalox 310
This proprietary aluminum chelate complex has been formulated as a gelling agent for lithographic printing ink vehicles…and is provided as a convenient solution in high-boiling ink oil solvent.
Extremely stable under high temperature conditions, Manalox 310 is an ideal gellant for varnishes cooked for several hours above 320°F.
Capable of achieving very high viscosity at low aluminum content, Manalox 310 has a slow rate of reactivity that permits addition to many varnishes at high temperatures.
Manalox 310 does not produce any byproduct alcohols during the gelling reaction.
